Peterborough Positive has launched a new pocket map celebrating vibrant street art on a growing number of city centre landmarks.

The map highlights six murals commissioned by the Business Improvement District, alongside nine additional pieces created by acclaimed local street artist Nathan Murdock.

Designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore the city centre, the map offers an accessible way to discover the stories, colour and creativity woven into Peterborough’s streetscape.

Pep Cipriano, Chief Operating Officer at Peterborough Positive, said:

“Street art has become an important part of our city centre’s identity. This new map makes it easier than ever for people to explore these vibrant works and appreciate the cultural history and creativity behind them. We’re proud to showcase artwork that transforms everyday spaces into memorable experiences for everyone.” “A guided tour, led by Nathan Murdock alongside the Civic Society and Peterborough Positive, will take place in the new year to mark the launch. Visitors will be able to hear the stories behind the designs directly from Nathan and fellow artist Tony Nero, who collaborated on several of the featured pieces, and gain insight into the inspiration behind their work.”

Full details will be shared on Peterborough Positive’s social media channels over the coming months.

Printed maps can be collected from the Tourist Information Centre at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery and the Town Hall. A digital version is available to download here.
