National BID Award

We’re delighted to announce that our Glastonbury Weekender has won silver in the Best Event category at the National BID Awards. The awards celebrate the role of Business Improvement Districts in creating thriving city centres, delivering memorable experiences, and bringing communities and businesses together, while also providing a valuable benchmark to compare our work and learn from other BIDs across the country.

Held over three days in Cathedral Square and across the city centre, the Glastonbury Weekender brought festival vibes to the heart of the city with big-screen Glastonbury coverage, live music, comedy, art, storytelling and music-inspired events hosted by local venues and businesses.

Winning a national award is a fantastic endorsement of the creativity, collaboration and hard work behind the event, and a brilliant reflection of the city centre’s energy and ambition.
