Jay works with the local neighbourhood policing teams and partner agencies to look at the design and implementation of problem-solving to reduce overall crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the city centre, as well as representing the force within schemes such as Pub and Shop Watch.

In addition, Jay is meeting and building relationships with the businesses in the BID area to provide advice and support around crime prevention, along with using the DISC crime-reporting system for a joined-up approach to reducing crime.
