The national terrorism threat level has risen from SUBSTANTIAL to SEVERE, meaning an attack in the UK is now considered highly likely. This change followed the incident at Liverpool Women’s Hospital earlier this month and the murder of MP Sir David Amess on 15th October.
Cambridgeshire Police are advising businesses to increase their awareness of the threat, remain vigilant, and review their current procedures in response to these events, particularly since we are now entering the festive season.
Advice and guidance on the current threat and how to counter it is available from:
- The ACT App (Action Counters Terrorism mobile application – download the Urim app in Google Play or the App Store then email ct@highfieldelearning.com to request a user name and password).
