After the members of a team of scientists lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city.
The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (12a - 1987)
High school senior Ferris Bueller decides to skip school on a spring day by faking an illness for his parents, then encourages his girlfriend, Sloane, and his pessimistic best friend Cameron to spend the day in Chicago as one of their last flings before they graduate and head off to different colleges.

Hairspray (PG - 1988)
In 1960s Baltimore, dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad auditions for a spot on “The Corny Collins Show” and wins. She becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion. Perhaps her new status as a teen sensation is enough to topple Corny’s reigning dance queen and bring racial integration to the show.

Bill & Ted (PG - 1989)
Bill and Ted are high school buddies starting a band. However, they are about to fail their history class, which means Ted would be sent to military school. They receive help from Rufus a traveler from a future where their band is the foundation for a perfect society. With the use of Rufus’ time machine, Bill and Ted travel to various points in history, returning with important figures to help them complete their final history presentation.
